Spartans, Spartan family members and friends bring in the Gold for the 10th year in a row for their donations of blood during the Calgary Corporate Challenge. 

Overall the Calgary Corporate Challengers brought in 7,283 blood, plasma and platelet donations through this year’s blood donor challenge. Because each blood donation can save or improve up to three lives, the Blood Donor Challenge has potentially benefited over 21,000 patients. 

Calgary Corporate Challenge is the largest amateur sporting event in North America. Each September over 200 companies generate true team spirit as they participate in the Corporate Challenge Games. As a lead up to the games, employees, families and friends of participating companies donate blood in the spring and summer, bringing in 11% of southern Alberta’s blood supply.
